Magdalena Müllerová

Magdalena Müllerová was born in Prague in 1974. She graduated from the Metropolitan University Prague (2010, International relations and European Studies, BA). After finishing high school she joined the Collegium radio station (1992−93). Then she moved on to the scientific journal Vesmír (subscription service, 1994−95) as well as the Center for Theoretical Studies, The Institute for Advanced Studies at Charles University and the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic (office manager, 1995−2008). After a brief assignment as a PR and fundraiser at MeetFactory international centre for contemporary art in Prague, she arrived at the Czech Cultural Contact Point promoting the EU Culture Programme within the Arts and Theatre Institute. Co-author of Umělci bez hranic: Mezinárodní spolupráce a mobilita v oblasti kultury [Artists without Borders: International Co-operation and Mobility in the Field of Culture] (2009, with E. Žáková and V. Debnár) and Umělci pro společnost: Příklady kulturních projektů v oblasti sociální inkluze [Artists for the Society: Examples of Cultural Projects in the Field of Social Inclusion] (2010, with O. Kašpárek and V. Frajtová). She speaks English and French. Married, three children.
